Becky Pritt Will Win CFCC 2017

by: Sugar (January 2, 2018)

For everyone but fans of Alabama and Georgia, it's all over but the cryin'. That goes for all dirty-dawgers but one as well. We fired up the TRS-80 computing array here at dirty-dawg World HQ and it appears that overall leader, Becky Pritt of Elizabethton, TN, cannot be caught. Becky has had a great Bowl Blowout with a 16-8 record and 120 points to move from 4th place after Week 13 into the overall lead. She has 1 point on Alabama in the final, so her final score will range from 923-927. Well played, Becky! Brett Williams in in 2nd place, but 30 points back and has 1 on Georgia, so he is out of contention. The next challenger is Jeff Graschel from Slidell, LA. Jeff has crushed the Blowout with 134 points and is up 33 spots to #3. However, he had 25 on Oklahoma, so he is finished for the season. Johnny Vegas is next, but with 9 points on the Tide and 50 points back, he is out as well. It will be interesting to see if JV can bone up when the smoke clears next Monday night. The last challenger is Daniel Lamb from Brandon, MS. Daniel is in 5th place overall with 25 on Alabama. If the Tide "rolls", Daniel will finish with 915 points, which will still leave him short of Becky Pritt.

For the Bowl Blowout overall, our old friend and dirty-dawg vet Dan Luyk will run away with the title as he sits on 240 points and a 21-3 record! Yeah, only 3 losses. Hard to believe. Dan missed 25 on A&M, 15 on Memphis and 2 on Clemson. He has 1 on Georgia in the final, so great job Dan! And for Group Play, perennial powerhouse Bucknutz leads the way with an average score of 757.44. The Border War Still Lives in KC is in 2nd place with 737.67 and The Florida Dummies version 16.0 is in 3rd with 726.50. It is always hard to predict how the group scores will shake-out with so many points still left on the board, so only time will tell.

So, get ready for what should be a great College Football National Championship final between Georgia and Alabama. If you are an SEC fan, you love this. If you aren't an SEC fan, you don't. But in any event, we will be back here next week after the champion has been crowned for a complete wrap-up of the 2017 CFCC and a promise to be back again later this year. Enjoy the championship!
